From midnight movies, to football games, to dating, the social lives of the Class of '83 at PHS were varied. Some of these times may have seemed awkward or even painful, but being with friends made the times special, memorable, and fun. The Class of '83 spent the majority of the week making plans for the weekend.

How we spent the time varied from season to season. During the fall, we attended football games and enjoyed field parties. Going to a friend’s house to socialize dominated the weekends.

In the winter, most Friday nights were spent going to basketball games and then hitting the midnight movie at the Fox Theater.

When spring finally rolled around, everything moved outside. Plans for prom and graduation were the main concerns for most seniors, while everyone else looked forward to spring break and summer vacation.
